Mr. Barker was the senior High Yield Media Analyst for Toronto Dominion ("TD") Securities. While at TD, he focused his expertise in the lower-middle market media business and extended the scope of his group's credit research to include syndicated bank loans. Mr. Barker worked in a similar capacity for NationsBank Montgomery Securities (a predecessor or Bank of America Securities) and began his career at Fidelity Management. Realizing there was a vacuum in the market, he founded Barker Capital in 2002 to focus on the lower-middle market media sector. BC's Private Equity activities include: BC Media Funding Company I, BC Liquidity Fund I and the current BC Media Funding Company II. BC's investment banking activities include: acquisition advisory, balance sheet restructuring, and senior debt formation. Mr. Barker is a graduate of Tufts University, holding a BA in History.
